Leukaemia Foundation “Light the Night”

Leukaemia Foundation “Light the Night”

Friday 26th October a special event for the Leukaemia Foundation called “Light the Night” for the Peel Region. It is a beautiful inspiring twilight walk with coloured lanterns; GOLD to remember loved ones lost to blood
cancer, WHITE for those diagnosed themselves and BLUE to show support for all those affected. It is a great event to proudly give the local families that has faced or is facing blood cancer the emotional and practical support that will help light their way forward, even in their darkest hour, they’re not alone.

The Leukaemia Foundation will continue funding it’s national research program, which has already invested $38m over the past decade to find the causes of blood cancer and improve the way people are diagnosed and then treated.

The wonderful Lions Club Pinjarra is once again supporting the community with a sausage sizzle from 5.30pm and bring a chair to relax and enjoy the local entertainment before the ceremony, starting at 6.30pm

Please register and make a donation for your lantern(s)and you collect these on the night.
