The Town of Bassendean and Derbarl Yerrigan Health Service Inc are proud to announce the return of NAIDOC Family Day at Ashfield Reserve on Thursday, 6 July.
The annual FREE event, which is now in its 14th year, is arguably one of the largest National NAIDOC Week events in Perth, attracting crowds of more than 4,000 people each year.
Running from 10:30 am to 3 pm, NAIDOC Family Day promotes the recognition of the invaluable contribution Aboriginal Australians have made to our community.
The 2017 program will include the annual Dandjoo Koorliny Reconciliation Walk, stalls and activities from Derbarl Yerrigan Health Service Inc and government and community organisations, plus live music performances from Gina Williams, Hot Likwid, and Madjitil Moorna Choir.
Guests can also meet the players from Swan Districts Football Club and Netball WA.
