Sharing Stories at ANZAC Cottage

Sharing Stories at ANZAC Cottage

So many people are researching those in their families who served our country in the many conflicts involving Australia. As a way of celebrating ANZAC Cottage’s 102nd birthday, the Friends of ANZAC Cottage is hosting a “Sharing Stories” Open Day on February 11th from 1pm to 4pm and welcome people to come along and share the story of veterans from the City of Vincent (including the suburbs of Leederville, North Perth, Mt Hawthorn, Highgate, Mt Lawley, West Perth, East Perth) who served in any wars. Story sessions will be held at 1:45 and 2:45 pm. There is also the opportunity to discuss the different resources available and sharing knowledge for such research.
ANZAC Cottage is situated at 38 Kalgoorlie St, Mt Hawthorn and entry is free with afternoon tea available for a gold coin donation. For more information, please contact Anne by emailing chapan@highway1.com.au or calling 0411 44 55 82.
