The Men and Women who built ANZAC Cottage

They were prejudiced, certainly, but also they were strong in their faith and committed to a project that would still resonate over one hundred years into the future.

The ANZAC Cottage Open Day on October 1st from 1pm to 4pm will feature talks at 1:30pm and 2:30pm explaining who the men and women of the Mt Hawthorn Progress Association were, why they undertook such a huge project and how they inspired a remarkable demonstration of community spirit in difficult times.

ANZAC Cottage is situated at 38 Kalgoorlie St Mt Hawthorn.

Entry is free and afternoon tea available for a gold coin donation.
