Join Fremantle Symphony Orchestra for an afternoon star-jumping through the galaxy at 3pm, Sunday 27 August at the Fremantle Town Hall.

The afternoon’s performance, lead by FSO’s Musical Director David Pye, will include Mozart’s Symphony 41 and Holsts’ The Planets.

Symphony 41, otherwise known as Jupiter is the final symphonic work by Mozart. This postmodern masterpiece is known for its good humour and exuberant energy.

After a short interval, the orchestra will head further out into the Solar System for Holsts’ The Planets. This set of suits depicts the astrological story and character of each of the seven known planets in Holst’s time.

Doors open at 2.45pm for a 3pm start. Tickets are available either on the orchestra’s website or at the door from $25.
