Tamara Kuldin is an exciting fixture on the Australian jazz scene. She will launch her new album in WA on Thursday 27 July 7.00pm is a one-off performance at The Ellington Jazz Club.
A regular visitor to Perth, Tamara says “I have a massive fear of flying and have tested myself many times travelling to Perth, I have flown to Perth to overcome my fear of flying and one visit I went to Margaret River for five days and fell in love with the place. I am very much looking forward to performing at The Ellington for the first time”.
Melbourne-based melody maker Tamara Kuldin is all about bringing back the sass and sophistication of that vintage era of music with her own modern, sultry yet playful twist. Her vocal prowess is captivating audiences from as far as New York and Europe, where she recently toured her new album.
Infusing the stage with warmth, charisma and musicality, Tamara Kuldin allures her musical prey with her trademark cheek and coquettish charm. With a passion and flair for various shades of jazz, blues and multilingual affairs of song, Love, Longing and Lullabies includes exquisite interpretations of much loved tunes from The Sound of Music, Gershwin, Hoagy Carmichael, The Beatles and more, all from her newly released recording featuring an ensemble of renowned jazz musicians.
