Fringe World Festival: Teacup – One Boy’s Story

Music Book and the State Library present seven, free, world premiere performances of “TEACUP- One Boy’s Story, proudly supported by City of Perth”, an adaptation by composer Matt Ottley, based on the book TEACUP, written by Rebecca Young and illustrated by Matt Ottley.

The musical version of TEACUP takes place during the State Library of WA’s exhibition of Ottley’s paintings, and includes sung and spoken text, accompanied by a quartet of Perth musicians.

A film of images accompanies the performance, which is about 40 mins long.

Suitable for the whole family, the free performances are in the State Library of WA’s Ground Floor Gallery, Perth Cultural Centre.

Bookings are not required.
