A CONCEPT plan for play equipment at Lynton Park in Yanchep is out for public comment.
City of Wanneroo has invited submissions until June 22 on its plans to install a playground, including swings, climbing equipment and shade sails, and amphitheatre at the park.
Features will include boat and koala rockers, line-marking games such as hopscotch, a crow’s nest climbing frame, hammock, drums and spinning structures.

READ NOWThere will be an on-site meeting for residents and City staff at the park off Flagtail Outlook from 5pm on June 14.
The City is running an online survey about the plans; visit www.wanneroo.wa.gov.au or call 9405 5670 for more information.
Members of the Two Rocks Yanchep Residents Association sought exercise equipment at another site nearby, Longfin Park, in late 2016.
At the time, the City advised the group that it classified Longfin as a local park and it had adequate infrastructure on site, so there were no plans to install additional equipment.
However, residents were told the City would consider exercise equipment as part of upgrades planned at Lynton Park.
