CURIOUS minds of all ages are invited to a free, inspiring and curious evening with the entertaining and educational Chris Smith, aka the BBC’s Naked Scientist in Mandurah on Thursday.

Smith will present Curious Communities: How Mind, Body, Food and Technology Impacts our Health.

Winning a host of awards for science communications since 2006, The Naked Scientist is guaranteed to entertain, inspire and educate.

With his signature “stripped back to the bare essentials’’ approach, the presentations make science accessible, interesting and understandable to the general population in their everyday, but no less curious, lives.

Peel Bright Minds program co-ordinator Charli Jones said the presentation and Q&A session would be a wonderful opportunity for the community to engage with science and inspire curiosity, which was what Peel Bright Minds was all about.

“We encourage young people especially to attend, be inspired and bring burning questions for Dr Smith as science, technology, engineering and maths are increasingly important for the jobs of the future,’’ she said.

The Naked Scientist is at the Fish Trap Theatre, this Thursday from 5-7pm.
