BRIGHTLY coloured tops filled an Alkimos school on Friday’s Loud Shirt Day fundraiser for the Telethon Speech and Hearing.

St James’ Anglican School hosted the November 10 fundraiser to support pre-primary student Harry Brocklesby (6), who goes to the centre two days a week.

When Harry started at the centre he was a quiet three-year-old who could not say his own name, but is now a talkative child thanks to the language development support he has received.

The $870.40 raised will help Telethon Speech and Hearing provide the intensive therapy services to children with hearing, speech or language impairments.
