CELEBRATIONS for the Village Christmas Party in Cottesloe next month have been revamped.

“Cottesloe is one of the beating hearts of Perth, with a bright and young culture, and the fair will reflect that,” ProCott representative Kevin McCabe said.

The party, proudly sponsored by the Western Suburbs Weekly, replaces the former Cottesloe Village Carnival and Hullaballo and will be held on Friday, December 1 with residents, visitors, children and their parents invited to be part of the festive spirit.

The event will include launch of a new light display on Napoleon Street.

Attractions for smaller children include petting zoo, a silent disco and a visit from Father Christmas.

“I’ll be doing face painting and all the magical displays of fairy land,” festival fairy Fairy Claire said

For the adults, there will be free entertainment and food, live music and beverage tastings, in addition to the offerings of local restaurants and bars.

The party will be held in Napoleon Street from 4-9pm.
